AT&T NetPROTECT
family of services
provide fraud protection that's the most extensive and
comprehensive in the industry. The program monitors both
outbound international and domestic toll free calls 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week. AT&T provides customers timely
notification of suspicious calling patterns. Toll fraud
education is available by security experts, who can initiate
toll fraud investigations, and answer questions via a 24 hour
NetPROTECT hotline.
Covered calls
include International Outbound long distance direct dial calls
and Domestic Toll Free calls.

NetPROTECT Basic
The Customer liability is capped at $25,000 for charges for
Remote Toll Fraud calls that commence before an AT&T
Notification or a Customer Notification. The liability
cap applies for a one time only Remote Toll Fraud incident,
based on the combined charges at all Basic Covered Telephone
Systems (CTS) affected by such incident.

NetPROTECT Plus
When AT&T certifies the Customer's Covered Telephone System
(CTS) as a Plus CTS, the Customer's liability is initially
capped at $2,000 for charges for Remote Toll Fraud calls that
commence before an AT&T Notification or a Customer
Notification. The liability cap applies once across all
Plus CTS affected by each Remote Toll Fraud incident.
After each Remote Toll Fraud incident, the liability cap will
be increased by $2,000. Plus subscribers are contacted
at pre-designated contact numbers. Plus subscribers
remain liable for all Remote Toll Fraud Usage charges which
are incurred after an AT&T Notification or a Customer
Notification.
- AT&T
NetPROTECT Premium
The customer's liability is $0 for any pre-notification and up
to 2 hours post-notification of the fraud. Premium
subscribers are contacted at pre-designated contact numbers.
If fraud continues past the 2 hour timeframe, the customer is
liable for those charges.
